State Minister visits GSCC

This morning, Council hosted a visit from Hon Luke Donnellan – Minister for Roads and Road Safety, Minister for Ports.

Discussions between GSCC Councillors, Suzanna Sheed- Indipendant Member for Shepparton and Minister Donnellan included;

funding required for the Goulburn Valley Shepparton Bypass Stage 1 and Shepparton Alternative Route as priority projects
opportunities being made available via GV Link
potential intersection pressure with the redevelopment of GV Health
the importance of water security to the Goulburn Valley economy
long-standing need to improve and increase passenger rail services between Shepparton and Melbourne.
