Greater Shepparton City Council recognises the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, a significant legacy of over 70 years, as the Queen of the Commonwealth.
Queen Elizabeth was respected and admired across the world.
She will be remembered as a lady of great integrity and dedication.
On 4 March 1954, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip visited Greater Shepparton as part of the monarch’s first visit to Australia.
Greater Shepparton sends their deepest condolences to the Royal family.
