Street Rider Night Bus Service takes break over Easter

Council wishes to advise locals that the Street Rider Night Bus Service will NOT be operating over the Easter long weekend.

Council, along with Shepparton Police encourage anyone planning a night out to make their own arrangements to get home safe such as booking a taxi service ahead of time or nominating a designated driver.

The late night service will resume it's weekly run from 1am Sunday April 3.

The Street Rider Night Bus Service project was established in partnership by the Greater Shepparton City Council and Victoria Police in 2008 to address drink driving within the local area, late night altercations and assaults and disorderly behaviour within Shepparton's central business district.
