Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor, Cr Dinny Adem says “if you have an idea on what the precinct could look like, I encourage you to have your say. Now is your opportunity to voice your ideas or suggestions for the future design of the precinct.”
A number of areas from the previous master plan have been highlighted for change, including the development of a new family precinct adjacent to the skate park and remodelling of the clubs precinct at the southern end of the lake. There are also changes proposed for the northen edge of the lake with the planting of trees and placement of street furniture to create an urban plaza.
“The further improvements to the precinct in this master plan will support a range of sport, recreation, leisure, community and tourism opportunities, including some regionally significant major events. Go to Council’s website to view the master plan and to provide your feedback,” said Cr Adem.
