VicRoads would like to advise the community that water and sewer main relocation works will commence in the surrounding areas of the Doyles Road-Midland Highway intersection from Friday 21 August, 2015.
Works will be undertaken through Goulburn Valley Water and involve the relocation of water and sewer mains, and will have a significant impact on traffic through the intersection and adjacent roads.
Traffic management will include full road closures and detours for some stages of the work and partial road closures for other stages. Speed restrictions will also be in place through the work site and road users will experience traffic delays.
Works are anticipated to be completed by the end of October 2015 – weather permitting.
VicRoads will keep the community informed of changes to traffic management through local and social media, and the VicTraffic website or app.
VicRoads thanks the community for their patience while these works are carried out, and asks motorists to be aware of workers and machinery at the site for their own safety and for the safety of staff.
For enquiries or more information about the project or traffic management during these works, please contact VicRoads on phone 13 11 70 or email
