Greater Shepparton City Council would like to advise the community of upcoming construction works on Bridge Road, Caniambo.
As part of Council’s Major Culvert Renewal Program, works on the crossing of the road and a natural watercourse will be undertaken to replace the culvert structure and install new guard railing.
Construction will begin on Wednesday 1 May 2024 and it is anticipated the works will take approximately eight weeks to complete, weather permitting.
Bridge Road will be closed to traffic at the immediate site, between River Road and Bells Road, and a detour route will be in place via Lowes Road, Bells Road and River Road. Local residents’ access will remain throughout the construction period.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused during the duration of these important renewal works, and thanks the community for their cooperation and understanding.
For further information about the works, please contact Council’s Project team on projects@shepparton.vic.gov.au or phone (03) 5832 9700.
