Greater Shepparton City Council recently launched its new tourism website, further accenting all of the great things our region has to offer, promoting Greater Shepparton as a key destination.
The website aligns with the new destination brand, ‘Shepparton - Many Great Things’, a sleek and modern take which categorises the city’s main product strengths including people and families, events, MooovingArt, water, arts and culture, environment, food and agriculture, sunshine, lifestyle and sports.
The new Visit Shepparton website provides information and tips on what to see and do here, where to eat and drink, what events to attend and where to stay. With maps, document guides and even a wish list, the new website has an abundance of information about the region.
Greater Shepparton City Council Director Sustainable Development Johann Rajaratnam said the new website superbly showcases our municipality and everything it has to offer.
“Our region has always had many great features including places to visit and stay, events and festivals and fantastic locally-produced food, and the new website captures the essence of these strengths really well.
“Our aim is to provide an information platform that is of benefit and easily accessible to the community as well as national and international visitors, driving tourism and visitation in the region and stimulating our local economy.
“The website’s easy to use interface clearly outlines the content, making it fresher, smarter and easily accessible on various devices including mobile phones and tablets. I encourage everyone to check out the new website and learn about the many great things available here,” he said.
