Volunteer award winners announced

Winners of the 2014 Greater Shepparton Volunteer Awards were announced at a ceremony last night.

The winners were;

Male Volunteer: Carl Walters
Female Volunteer: Lisa Niglia
Male Youth Volunteer: Steven Granger
Female Youth Volunteer: Georgina Poort
Rural Volunteer: Norma Sutherland
Volunteer Team: Let's Get Together Group

Greater Shepparton Mayor Jenny Houlihan congratulated all winners and nominees

"On behalf of Council, I would like to congratulate all winners and nominees. Every volunteer is incredibly valuable to their community. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication," Cr Houlihan said.
