The winners are Grady Tyson, Aritha Percra, Callum Tyson and Nathan Lonhake from GV Grammar School and the McAuley Champagnat Programme, offered through Notre Dame College.
Greater Shepparton’s Director Community Kaye Thomson congratulated the winners.
“It is fantastic to see our young people getting involved, showcasing their abilities and raising awareness of an important issue.
David Tennant from FamilyCare reiterated Ms Thomson’s comments.
“Congratulations to our winners, not just on their entries but for understanding why RESPECT is so important to us all,” Mr Tennant said. “Young people have a vital role to play in ensuring Greater Shepparton is a safe and happy community and we hope the conversations the competition prompted continue.”
Patrice Jackson from Berry Street said the panel was very impressed with the high quality entries.
“We were even more impressed with the entrants’ deeper understanding of what RESPECT really means”. “We encourage young people to view the winning entries and to think about how they RESPECT each other at home, at school and in the wider community.”
The project is a partnership between Greater Shepparton City Council, Family Care and Berry Street.
