Community Living Local Law No 1 states:

4.2 Trading of Goods & Services

  1. No person shall without a permit:
    1. Erect or place on any highway or Council land a vehicle, caravan, trailer, table, stall or other similar structure for the purpose of selling or offering for sale any goods or services; or
    2. Sell or offer to sell goods or services on any highway or Council land.
  2. An itinerant trader must obtain a permit under this Local Law and in compliance with Council’s Itinerant Traders Policy.


First offence - 2 penalty units ($200.00)
Second or subsequent offence - 4 penalty units ($400.00)
