Nurture Nature

A great school holiday activity allowing kids of all ages (including adults!) to help make materials to send to wildlife carers in bushfire affected areas.

When:
Tuesday 21st of January, 2020, at 9:30am to 12:30pm
Where:
KidsTown, 7275 Midland Highway, Mooroopna
Cost:
Free
Contact:
RiverConnect (03) 5832 9700 or email for RSVP and further information

Activities will include sewing and knitting wildlife pouches, and making wildlife food balls. No experience required as we will have people on hand who can teach you how to sew or knit, but if you are experienced please make contact so we can coordinate machines etc.

We encourage the kids to bring along an old pillow case so they can make their very own special gift for an injured animal. NOTE: We will no longer do wooden nest boxes on this day but will look at another date to do these!

RSVP's are essential so that we can coordinate space, machines and materials!

Age Group: 0-4,5-12

What to bring: Wear comfortable clothing, bring a drink bottle and remember to be sun smart

Registration: Please contact RiverConnect on (03) 5832 9700 or email riverconnect@shepparton.vic.gov.au to RSVP
