The Lake was closed due to water quality issues following the rain event last weekend. Several areas of the lake have been extensively tested on a daily basis and levels of contamination are now well below the National Health and Medical Research Council guidelines.
As a secondary contact water body it is now deemed safe for water sports that allow incidental contact only. Swimmers are advised not to use the lake.
