Murchison Resource Recovery Centre

The Murchison Resource Recovery Centre accepts domestic waste, recyclables, scrap metal and green organics. It is located on the corner of Old Whroo Road and Cassidy Road, Murchison.

Please stay in your vehicle until you have reached the bins. Staff will approach you for payment.
For the health and wellbeing of yourself and site staff, customers will need to be responsible for the unloading of their items (no staff assistance available).

Opening Hours

Wednesdays: Closed until further notice*
Sundays: 12noon - 3.45pm.

* We hope to re-open on Wednesdays soon, pending staffing levels.

ALL CENTRES CLOSED: Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day, Anzac Day and Good Friday.

Pallets (untreated, less than 3m³)
Household recyclables (paper and cardboard, glass, plastics, tin, aluminium)

E-waste items (including toasters, hair dryers, alarm clocks, lamps, iPads, notebooks, tablets, smartphones and accessories, electronic toys, power tools, irons and other small electrical items.)
