Seniors Festival 2024
Greater Shepparton City Council is pleased to support the 2024 Victorian Seniors Festival in October 2024.
Victoria’s largest seniors’ festival is returning from 1–31 October 2024, with thousands of opportunities for older Victorians to take part in free and low-cost entertainment and events across the state.
The theme this year is – ‘Explore. Engage. Evolve.’ – encouraging older Victorians to stay curious and connected by exploring new activities, meeting new people, and changing how we think of ageing.

About the Festival
The Victorian Government, through the Office for Senior Victorians in the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, coordinates the Festival and works closely with all 79 Victorian local councils.
Greater Shepparton City Council and the Greater Shepparton Positive Ageing Advisory Committee has worked with community and organisations to coordinate and promote live events to return this October across Greater Shepparton.
Starting Sunday 1 and finishing Tuesday 31 October, the Seniors Festival 2024 will feature over 110 events and activities designed for older residents in Greater Shepparton.
Seniors represent 25% of the Greater Shepparton population and are recognised and valued for their wide range of skills and experience. Council is looking forward to celebrating the senior community through leading and partnering on a range of activities.
