Subjects were asked to bring an object of their choice to be photographed with and sit for a short interview.
The exhibition is intended as not only a record of some of the stories that are so often overlooked in regional communities, but also provide an opportunity for conversation, recognition and validation that is such an essential part of disaster recovery.
