Celebrating Rural Women

Together rural women from all walks of life, all over the world, whether on the land or in the town, play a pivotal role in sustaining their rural communities.Sometimes under the most difficult circumstances yet always with a determination and resilience that often sends a message to never underestimate what a women can do. Come along and join the conversation, enjoy some networking and celebrate together.

Panelists:
Barbara Carter: CWA member, former past president Goulburn Valley West CWA, Manager Plunkett Packing Shed for eight years, family background in sheep and cattle properties in Western Queensland.

Sarah Parker: 2022 Australian Rural Community Leader of the Year and with her husband are dairy farmers from Undera. Sarah the Director of the Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority, Vice President of the National Rural Women's Coalition, and an active member of Australian Women in Agriculture, Victorian Farmers Federation Farm Business and Regional Development committee member.

Sandra Vazzoler: Sandra's passion is Food and Food Production. Sandra with her husband is owner/operator Longleat winery and café, cheesemaker and educator.

Jacque Phillips OAM: Chief Executive Officer at NCN Health since July 2019. Jacque led the voluntary amalgamation to create NCN Health and has built local, regional and state professional relationships to ensure small rural communities have access to local health care.

Following the panel discussion there will be finger food available and the opportunity to mingle, network and celebrate!
