Snake Safety Workshop

Come along and have fun whilst learning how to keep the family safe during snake season.

This session suits 6-13 year olds and their parents/guardians.

Topics Include:

First aid procedures for snake bite
Local Snake knowledge and behaviour
Snake safety around the school and home
Interesting snake facts
Snakes and pets
Dealing safely, ethically and lawfully with snake encounters

There will be live python interactions available throughout the session, and you never know, we may even bring a lizard or 2 for the kids after the workshop!

Snake bite first aid kits will be available for purchase on the day via cash or EFTPOS.

After the workshop, enjoy a devonshire tea or some tasty treats from the kitchen made by the lovely Pete and Marg at Belstack Strawberry Farm. Take a stroll around the farm and you never know, the kids might just meet and animal or two!
