Since its announcement on 13 April 2017, work on the 2030 Greater Victoria Commonwealth Games bid is progressing.
To date, meetings have been held with the Australian Commonwealth Games Association and other regional councils to progress the project, with meetings with Ministers still being negotiated.
The second Taskforce meeting took place today, Friday 26 June in Melbourne.
It’s an exciting time for Greater Shepparton and regional Victoria, stay tuned for more updates on the project.
Greater Shepparton City Council adopted Flood Scoping Studies for Tallygaroopna and Katandra West at its July Council Meeting on Tuesday, to improve flood mapping in both towns. Read more
