Community members will have an opportunity to Catch up with the Councillors at the Mooroopna Farmer’s Market this Sunday 18 October and at the first Twilight Market at Victoria Park Lake on Saturday 24 October
At the same time, people will also be able to find out information about Council’s changes to green lid bin, which commences next week.
Greater Shepparton Mayor Dennis Patterson encouraged people to come along.
“As the elected members of the Greater Shepparton community we are eager to chat to as many people as possible”, explains Cr Dennis Patterson.
“We want to go where the people are so that they feel comfortable in asking us questions and finding out information. We need to hear any ideas or concerns directly from the community. We want to make it easier for people to have conversations with Council.”
Councillors will be available between 11am and 12noon on Sunday at the Mooroopna Farmer’s Market and between 5pm and 6pm at the Twilight Market on Saturday 24 August at Victoria Park Lake. Keep an eye out for the Greater Shepparton marquee.
If your group, school or town are eager to have a catch up with the Councillors please contact Council’s Marketing and Communications Team to organise a date and time that suits. The team can be contacted on 5832 9537, communications@shepparton.vic.gov.au or drop us a line on Facebook.
