Community Christmas Shop running again at the Visitor Centre

As we rapidly approach the festive season, residents and visitors can source their local Christmas gifts and cards from the Community Christmas Shop, located inside the Greater Shepparton Visitor Centre.

After a successful season in 2016, the staff and volunteers of the Visitor Centre will welcome back the Community Christmas Shop and are looking forward to the extended opening dates.

Greater Shepparton City Council Acting Director Sustainable Development Geraldine Christou was pleased to see the Community Christmas Shop back for another year and encouraged residents to visit the shop to source their Christmas gifts and cards.

“If you’re looking for something unique to give to friends or family, pop into the shop. It’s also a fantastic outlet to plan your holiday activities.

“We will again be sharing the centre with charity shop organisers, so it’s also a wonderful way to support several charities,” said Ms Christou.

The charity shop will be open on weekdays from Monday 13 November to Friday 22 December between 10am - 4pm.

The Visitor Centre is located at 33 Nixon Street and is open from 9am to 5pm.
