A networking dinner was held on Wednesday 19 August to give participants of Council’s community leadership program the opportunity to meet with current community leaders and to share their leadership journey in the program so far.
Over the past three months, participants have been learning leadership, team building, communication, advocacy, goal setting, creating partnerships and networking skills.
Program participants provided an overview of the five community projects they are working on and had the opportunity to network with community leaders to hear their thoughts around leadership and different opportunities of being involved in the community.
