Flood emergency impact on Council services
Greater Shepparton City Council would like to advise the community that our Customer Service Centre in Welsford Street, Shepparton, is now open Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm.
The Customer Service Call Centre is also open for phone enquiries from 8:15am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
The following Council services/facilities are currently closed:
Council-owned buildings must complete an insurance assessment before they can be used by community/user groups. We anticipate this will be done early next week. It is important that no one enter the facilities until they have been inspected for electrical and building safety (including confirming presence of asbestos). Council's Building Maintenance team will organise this, and notify user groups once safe to enter the property.
Rubbish collection / disposal / clean-up
Please visit our Rubbish Disposal Update page for updated details about Council's rubbish/waste disposal service, including Council's limited kerbside household flood waste collection from nature strips, kerbside bin collection, Resource Recovery Centre opening times, and the Cosgrove Landfill.
Food Relief
Need help recovering from the floods? Whether you need food or some manual labour to help move rubbish, let us point you in the right direction for flood recovery assistance and get you back on your feet.
