Traffic changes at Wyndham Street, Shepparton

VicRoads would like to advise the community of a new temporary road route in preparing for works at Shepparton Law Courts in Wyndham Street, Shepparton.

ADCO Constructions will commence setting up the construction site from Wednesday 21 September which will involve the erection of a tower crane.

Access to Wyndham Street and the Wyndham Street footpath in a northerly direction, between Sobraon and High Street, will be closed on the following dates:

Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September
Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 October

VicRoads advises drivers to seek an alternative route and avoid the area. Drivers travelling north on Wyndham Street will be directed left onto Sobroan Street to travel around the area. Heavy freight vehicles are also encouraged to use the Shepparton Alternate Route.

Signage will be in place to direct traffic and the detours will allow for access to surrounding business and residents. It is anticipated that there will be minimal disruption to traffic flow through the area.
