UPDATE 30/03/15: Greater Shepparton City Council advises residents of the temporary intersection closure will continue on Verney Road and Hawkins Street from Tuesday 7 April until Friday 10 April. Council are taking the opportunity of the quieter roads during school holidays and scheduling to complete the works at the intersection before school returns. Verney Road will be closed to from Pine Road to Ford Road with detours in place. The intersection will be re-opened to traffic by 6pm Friday 10 April ready for the re-opening of the schools. Detours from Ford Road and Hawkins will remain in place until mid-April. We thank the community for their patience and compliance with the traffic management arrangements.
Greater Shepparton City Council advises residents of the temporary intersection closure of Verney Road and Hawkins Street from Monday 30 March until Friday April 10. Verney Road will be closed to from Pine Road to Ford Road with detours in place.
“The closure forms part of the Verney Road works and will cause a temporary inconvenience in the area and we ask for the community’s patience during the works” said Director Infrastructure Steve Bowmaker.
