Greater Shepparton City Council wishes to advise residents that Verney Road will be re-opened to traffic from Monday, 4 May 2015.
Smaller work will still continue along Verney Road including installation of furniture, bins and finishing sections of the footpath. Drainage and footpath works will continue along Ford Road following the re-opening.
“Our main priority is to re-open Verney Road to traffic, we still have some work to complete on the side of the road, however this will not affect traffic.” said Director Infrastructure Steve Bowmaker.
Stage one will be fully completed by Saturday, 9 May 2015. The second stage from Hawkins Street to Graham Street has been budgeted for in the 2015/2016 draft budget. The final stage from Graham Street to Balaclava Road will require funding in the 2016/2017 budget
