Greater Shepparton City Council wishes to hear from residents regarding their thoughts on the Christmas decorations installed for the 2019 festive season.
Council would like to gain a better understanding of the community’s views and what they would like to see more of or introduced for 2020.
Greater Shepparton City Council Director of Community Kaye Thomson said residents could express their views through a survey.
“The survey will assist us in ensuring our Christmas decorations are something the entire community can be proud of,” Ms Thomson said.
“I encourage everyone to have their say and let us know what you thought of the decorations and what you would like to see in the 2020 program.”
Council coordinated a number of decorations this year including, giant LED Stars, fixtures on light poles at Victoria Park Lake, large baubles at Monash Park, Merry Moo’s and Sleigh, Selfie Santa and happy elves just to name a few.
The feedback obtained from the survey will assist Council in planning for this year’s decorations including where decorations should be placed and if anything new should be introduced.
The survey is now available online on Council’s website and in hard copy, with feedback closing on Friday 7 February.
Hardcopy surveys can be collected from and returned to Council’s Welsford Street office, Shepparton and Mooroopna Libraries, Aquamoves, the Tatura Newsagency and Murchison Bakery and Tea Rooms.
