The Healthy Communities Grants Program supports local organisations to build partnerships that educate the community, particularly young people, on harmful industries and misleading marketing.

The Healthy Communities Grants Program supports local organisations to build partnerships that educate the community, particularly young people, on harmful industries and misleading marketing.

The objectives of these grants are to:

  • Educate community on harmful industries or misleading marketing
  • Encourage behavioural change to reduce impacts of alcohol related harm
  • Create partnerships with community organisations
  • Engage and participate with children and young people
  • Develop a framework for sustainability or expansion
  • Support the delivery of the Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan

Supported by the Vic Health Local Government Partnership program, Greater Shepparton City Council is offering one-off grants of up to $10,000.  A total funding pool of $30,000 is available.
