Our Maternal and Child Health Service supports your child’s health and development from birth until school age. This is a FREE service available to all families across Greater Shepparton City Council.
The Maternal and Child Health Service offers:
- 10 Key Age and Stage consultations for you and your child;
- additional visits, first time parenting groups, breastfeeding support/advice, sleep and settling support, childhood immunisation, and links to community activities and services when extra support is needed;
- an opportunity for you to meet other parents and access community groups in your area.

To make a Maternal and Child Health appointment, please telephone the Greater Shepparton City Council Maternal and Child Health central booking line on (03) 5832 9312. Interpreter services are available.
Victorian families can also obtain extra support by calling The Victorian Maternal and Child Health Line on 13 22 29. The line provides over-the-phone information, advice and referrals with young children. This is a 24-hour telephone service and accessible seven days per week (including public holidays).
