Grants and Funding

Council provides grants as one-off financial assistance to not-for-profit organisations running local projects and activities, such as local and regional events, community development activities, community health initiatives, environment, and revitalisation of space and heritage projects.

The grants program is aligned with the objectives of the Greater Shepparton Council Plan, to support established and emerging communities through activities, programs and events that contribute to community strengthening and bring a wide range of social and economic returns to the municipality.

There are two main grant rounds available for Council grants each year (note that some grants have different closing dates, so please visit their individual pages listed below to find out more):

Round one of Greater Shepparton City Council’s 2018/19 grants programs will open on Monday 25 June 2018.
