Public Transparency Policy
Council is committed to open and transparent decision making and has implemented a Public Transparency Policy in accordance with the requirements of section 57 of the Local Government Act 2020 (“Act”).
The policy gives effect to the public transparency principles outlined in section 58 of the Act and describes:
- steps taken by Council to promote transparency;
- the type of information made available by Council;
- how information is made available;
- classes of information which may not be available;
- key responsibilities; and
- other relevant documents.
