New purple-lid bin for glass — Coming soon!

The State Government is standardising household waste and recycling services across the state. It is very difficult to separate glass from other recyclable materials, and glass items often break in mixed recycling bins.

By introducing a fourth bin just for glass, we will be able to make sure these resources are more effectively recycled into things like roads and footpaths! Learn more about this project.
