Murchison and District Community Plan
Murchison and District’s local history and river provide a unique identity and civic pride. Advancing towards the future and prosperity with confidence, they maintain a harmonious, safe and supportive community, rural lifestyle opportunities and sustainable development.
Murchison and District has a population of approximately 1,259 and is nestled on the banks of the Goulburn River and has the natural beauty that river red gums bring. Murchison's largest industries are in agriculture, retail trade, and services, contributed mainly through the Dhurringile Prison.
The Murchison and District Community Plan was endorsed by Council in October 2011

- Advocate for footpaths
