Item 11.4 Planning Application 2018-218 – To Use and Develop Land for an Abattoir at 630 Lancaster-Mooroopna Road and 1100 Mulcahy Road
On pages 54 and 63 of the Agenda it states that the Abattoir will operate 24 hours a day. The EPA have now informed Council that the proposed operating hours for Meatworks are:
275 days a year, from Monday to Friday, 12 hours per day (and some Saturday’s) with a period of shut-down for maintenance, not the 24 hours a day as specified by the EPA in the Council Report.
This will be outlined at the Council Meeting by the Chief Executive Officer at the beginning of this item.
